Ryan Harrison wins his opening match at Legg Mason

Andy Roddick was just 19 when he won his first Legg Mason Classic.

Now comes another 19-year-old American — Ryan Harrison, who lacks Roddick's height and heft (at least just now) and doesn't pack quite the same punch on his serve.

But the 6-foot, 160-pound Harrison is every bit the Roddick's equal — particularly the teenage Andy Roddick of 2001 — when it comes to his passion for tennis, his high-stakes tactics on court and his absolute confidence that with enough hard work, his skills, such as they are, can take him anywhere.
