Hacker describes contacts with Manning

The prosecution rested its case Tuesday in the pretrial hearing for Pfc. Bradley Manning after calling to the stand a convicted hacker who first alerted authorities about his suspicions that Manning had leaked government information to the anti-secrecy Web site WikiLeaks.

In four days of testimony from 20 witnesses in the digital age's first major leak case, Army prosecutors outlined in painstaking detail how Manning — a former intelligence µanalyst in Baghdad — allegedly downloaded to his work and personal computers hundreds of thousands of documents and two videos from the military's classified network.
