Donald Young scores big win over Marcos Baghdatis at Legg Mason Tennis Classic

Facing an opponent who was off to a sloppy and sluggish start, Donald Young seized the early advantage in the opening set of his Legg Mason Tennis Classic quarterfinal Friday.

But the momentum shifted in the second set, with Marcos Baghdatis, the tournament's 2010 runner-up, surging back to come within one point of leveling the match at one set apiece three times.

In the past, Young almost certainly would have folded in the face of three set points — particularly with a higher ranked, more experienced veteran across the net.
