Teen Choice Awards: Wins for Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, ‘Twilight,’ ‘Vampire Diaries’
This year's Teen Choice Award winners were not exactly hard to predict. Taylor Swift won six awards, including the Ultimate Choice honor — sort of the Teen Choice Awards' equivalent of a lifetime achievement award — for reflecting the feelings of so many adolescents via her country-pop songs about liking boys as well as breaking up with them.
Selena Gomez walked away with five Teen Choice Awards for her work on "The Wizards of Waverly Place" and her band, Selena Gomez and the Scene, as well for being a female hottie. Not to be left out, Gomez's boyfriend Justin Bieber received four awards, including the corresponding male hottie award and the trophy for maintaining a quality Twitter feed, Choice Twit, which I think we can all agree sounds more insulting than complimentary.
