Man climbs over White House fence

A man who climbed the White House fence Tuesday evening was arrested on the grounds, authorities said.
The man had a backpack with him when he was arrested by members of the uniformed division of the Secret Service, a spokesman for the service said. The backpack was inspected and nothing harmful was found in it, said spokesman Max Milien.
