Ask Amy: Freshman student fails ethics test

DEAR AMY: My freshman seminar professor recently assigned a labor-intensive reading assignment.

I didn't have time to do the entire thing, so a few of my classmates and I split up the assignment and then swapped notes (I still skimmed the other parts, trying not to feel like a slacker.)

Is this practice morally sound if we're only sharing notes and turning them in for grades?
