TV Highlights: Gene Simmons gets married; ‘Clean House’ spins off to New York

“Love That Girl!” (TV One at 8, 8:30), the sitcom about a young divorcee who moves back home to Southern California to work for her father, kicks off as Tyana gets in a fight with Nefertiti over a guy and later quarrels with her dad about a different guy . . . sensing a pattern?
With “The Sing-Off” (NBC at 8) a cappella groups narrowed down to the Top 10, the contestants must find a guilty pleasure song that will impress the judges.
Ted has been on so many dates that it’s hard to believe he could make such a rookie mistake on “How I Met Your Mother” (CBS at 8), but sure enough, the serial dater actually goes out with a woman without looking her up on the Internet beforehand.
Spinoff “Clean House New York” (Style at 8) premieres Monday to find the scariest-looking homes in the Big Apple, starting with a Brooklyn couple who are having relationship problems because of their messy living space. The hour-long premiere is followed by a special “How Do I Look?” (at 9), which attempts to make over the person with the unfortunate title of “Worst Dressed in America.”
Wentworth Miller of “Prison Break” fame guest stars on “House” (Fox at 9) as a man who collapses after making a generous — but rare — charitable donation, and House chalks up the altruistic behavior to a mental disorder.
The Kardashian wedding had its moment of glory last week, so we’re due for another two-night, four-hour celeb wedding special, right? This time, it’s Gene Simmons and longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed as the couple ties the knot in Beverly Hills in front of lots of camaras on “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” (A&E at 9). But you’re going to have to wait until Tuesday night to see all of that — Monday is all pre-wedding activity, from ceremony planning to couples therapy.
With Alan disturbed by Lyndsey’s sketchy past, which involves risque movies, Walden tries to cheer him up on “Two and a Half Men” (CBS at 9) by hosting a giant house party.
“Sing Your Song” (HBO at 10), a documentary profile about singer and activist Harry Belafonte, is previewed by Hank Stuever on Page C1.
The best bachelorette parties are those attended by the best friends and include lots of merriment — unless, of course, you want to be on reality TV, in which case you sign up for “Bachelorette Party: Las Vegas” (Oxygen at 10). Expect over-the-top celebrations, lots of drama and brides who threaten to get rid of members of their bridal party.
