	Tuesday, June 19, 2012 3:33:15 AM LOCAL NEWS ALERT U.Va. board names interim president The University of Virginia Board of Visitors, after nearly 12 hours in session, appointed an interim leader early Tuesday to replace President Teresa Sullivan, who was ousted June 10. Carl P. Zeithaml, dean of the university's top-ranked McIntire School of Commerce, will start Aug. 16. The appointment came after Sullivan met, briefly and privately, with the board on Monday to deliver a sharp defense of her two-year tenure.
