If it weren't for the tremendous doctors at the Georgetown University Hospital NICU, he wouldn't be with us today. He's a good kid. And when I buy him hats, he wears them. I love karaoke. It's fun, gets people involved and offers evenly placed embarrassment for everyone who participates. But after Red Rock Cafe held a "rapper karoake night" this weekend in Gaithersburg, things went way wrong. And by way wrong, I mean nearly a hundred people brawling in the parking lot with multiple stabbings. Very scary situation. The Post's Miranda S. Spivack reports on the melee, after which very few people elected to cooperate with police. Gentrification? What's that you say? Whites are taking over the city like wildfire and poor blacks can't do anything about it? Chill. Those over-simplifications are rampant at best and treated as gospel at worst in some circles. But according to census data, it turns out that white families are actually moving to Prince George's County to raise their kids. Gasp! In all seriousness, The Post's Carol Morello, Ovetta Wiggins and Ted Mellnik report on the changing demographics of PG County. Sean Lanigan got a raw deal. He was falsely accused of molesting a 12-year-old girl and it nearly ruined his life. He went to jail, lost his job and endured a much embarrassment for something he didn't do. And his court costs were no joke. So he sued the county to recoup, but was only rewarded a portion of what he had to pay. The Post's Tom Jackman reports on the story of the 45-year-old soccer coach who is rebuilding his life. For years, my dad owned a black and brown reversible YSL belt. As a kid, I thought the belt was a piece, but I later realized that it was a relatively iconic brand, for whatever reason. I've learned to love the logo in the years since. But now, the French fashion house is considering a name change. As in, Yves Saint Laurent, a tremendous moniker, will be no longer. Slate's Daphnee Denis explains why this is a terrible idea on multiple levels. I watched three soccer games yesterday. And the two MLS matches were better than the Euro 2012 quarterfinal, period. The always-exciting Portland Timbers beat the Seattle Sounders in a fantastic rivalry game just after the Italians handed the English yet another penalty shootout loss in a major tournament in Ukraine. And last, D.C. United lost a tough one in the Atlantic Cup to the Red Bulls. Chris Pontius got on the board super early, but it wasn't enough to win. The Post's Steven Goff has the gamer. Extra Bites • I don't particularly like GPS devices. They tend to sound annoying and I feel like the often do more harm than good. And in the case of one woman in Massachusetts, that's definitely true. Protip: If you're driving on a golf course, you're going the wrong way. • Michael Jackson died three years ago today. Let's just take some time to remember one of his more slept-on songs of all time. • Moms: They're the best. Even if they're bears. Here's how to get at me.
