Rumours are rife that Hong Kong actor Hawick Lau will be proposing to his girlfriend, mainland actress Yang Mi in 2013.

Jaynestars reported that in a recent interview, the actor, who is currently starring in the mainland drama, Yu Zheng's "In Love With Power", let slip that he may be popping the question to Yang Mi next year.

When asked about his plans for New Year, Hawick revealed, "I will return to Hong Kong to visit my family. I also hope to lessen my work to spend more time doing charity."

However, when the interviewer sneakily asked if his New Year plans include proposing to Yang Mi, Hawick heartily answered, "I'm planning it! But I rather you guys focus more on our work. We are just like any other couple. We eat dinner and watch movies together. Nothing special!"

In January 2012, the 38-year-old actor announced that he is dating 26-year-old Yang Mi. Despite endless cheating and breakup rumours, the couple stayed together throughout the relationship.
