Karena Lam is pregnant with second child

Hong Kong-based actress Karena Lam, who is a mother to two-year-old daughter Kayla, announced that she is currently three months pregnant with her second child via her microblog update on Saturday.

Karena and her Hong Kong advertisement director husband Steve Yuen have no plans to find out the gender of their second child as both of them 'want a surprise'.

Karena showed off her baby bump and curvaceous figure when she uploaded a photo of herself in a V-neck dress. The 34-year-old then posed with longtime good friend, actor Ekin Cheng and commented online, 'I'm going to be a mum again! Ekin, do you want to be my child's godfather?'

The actor, who attended an event together with Karena that day, was elated to share her joy and agreed immediately.

However, Karena seemed to regret her decision upon witnessing Ekin's mischievous behaviour backstage and jokingly said, 'What am I going to do if my baby is as playful as you [Ekin]?'

Karena married Steve in June 2010 and left the showbiz to spend more time with her family after she gave birth to Kayla in October the same year. She only resumed work in the entertainment industry in March this year.
