Killing Gang, South Africa Send Troops

Apparently, the South African government would crack down on all-out criminal gangs. Hence, no half-hearted, the government sent troops to the effort. According to Xinhua reporter on Saturday (11.26.2011), the military has set off to Cape Town.

"The Army will work with special units of police. We are targeting one of them, Lavender Hill area most vulnerable to gang violence," said Cape Town police spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Andre Traut West.

Gang members fighting each other is fairly disturbing the community. "Every day there are those who die in gang crossfire," said Traut.
